Graduates

Today Kaden graduated or "slid" into First Grade! They have a cute little performance where they sing us some songs, we read their memory books, which are a compilation of all their work through out the year and then the big diploma ceremony! They take the kids out to the play ground and one-by-one, they announce them and they get to "slide" into first grade.

Memorial weekend, Tara graduated with her Masters of Psychology. It was such a proud day for all of us to see her accomplish such a task!

Look-A-Like

So we all know how much the boys look like their dad, I hear it ALL the time! I guess that comes with having boys though :). Yesterday Jason cam home with this picture of himself as a baby. He was making his birthday cake for his 3rd birthday....can we say TWINS!!!! I know the hair probably makes them look alike, but we both just kept staring at it laughing at how much Brady looks like his daddy!

Easter 2009

We finally got a shot of the 5 of us...it's been since Christmas '07! Way too long.
We had a relaxing Easter and the kids had a blast egg hunting and eating lots of candy!

Birthday Boy

Our little baby is officially a toddler...sniff, sniff
Well I guess it is bitter sweet because we love the big boy he is becoming!
He is so spunky, has such great character and a little love bug and of course a daring daredevil like his brothers.
He is talking like crazy, he keeps his older brothers in line now that he can share what he is thinking lol He sings, goes pee on the potty and loves to help mommy cook in the kitchen. We just can't get over where our baby went?
We had his party at Gammie's house (Jasons moms' house). After a gloomy looking week, the day turned out warm and sunny, it was gorgeous! Good thing, according to the jumpy guy, we were a litle crazy for getting a water slide jumper this time of year...we live on the edge LOL
We were also lucky enough to have our friend, who owns a gym bus, bring it over for all the kids. They lOVED it! All that, topped with a pinata filled with candy, "custom" designed cake ;), all around ice cream from the ice cream man (compliments of Jack!) and presents....could a kid ask for a better day?

Here is our BiG boy, Kaden! He is really growing like a weed these days.
His spring school pics turned out ok, but I wonder why no one had him take his sweatshirt off??? He had a really cute shirt on underneath....oh well

Yup, that's my boys! So ever since we were in Utah and the boys went to a shooting range and learned how to use a gun, they have been begging, BEGGING to go "hunting". We finally decided they were ready for some b.b. guns. We've been brain washing them with safety rules, which I am still a little paranoid, but hey, that's my job right? :)
They have gone about 5 times in the last 2 weeks and a day doesn't go by when they aren't asking if they can go hunting.
We took them up some trails that wrap around the actually San Elijo Hills...they are the ones, that on the opposite of where were are, they face the 78 and San Marcos Blvd. It is ironic, before these hills were all developed we used to take the trucks up all the dirt paths and off road to the top to see the beautiful views.
Anyways, I was so impressed with Kaden and Kohl's shot. We set up a can on a rock and they stood about 15 yards back, Kohl hit is the first time and then 3 times after! Kaden hit it twice and then got a bird...I know, sad, but I guess it's a boys thing!?!

Spring Babes

Yesterday was such a gorgeous day on the coast we decided it was perfect to get some spring shots of the boys and Brady's 2yr pics. Of course, it wouldn't be a picture experience with out one of the three refusing to take part. Brady wanted nothing to do with it in the begining and would NOT go anywhere near the water...until about an hour later, when we couldn't keep him out of it lol
I think they turned out cute :)

BUNCO

...which I didn't roll one time! But still had a blast and came in 2nd place, scoring $10 in my pocket, woohoo :)! I can see how women carry this tradition on for years, what a great way for a group of girls to get together and have some fun. I am so excited to be part of this amazing group and it is crazy, we are all from different groups of friends and backgrounds, yet somehow, we all know each other, which makes it awesome to have time to catch up with each others' lives.
