For those of you not familiar with where we live, San Elijo is somewhat of it's own city/community (except there is no Starbucks and the Albertsons is still in the works). Right down the street (walking distance) from our house, is the San Elijo City Park. It is by far one of the best city parks I've been to. The kids love it! There is a huge covered playground, tables, bbqs and the best is a little beach/water park area. The water squirts up from all over the ground and the kids run around and chase it or sit on them lol. Then there is a huge sandbox area for them to play in. With summer right around the corner we'll be there ALL the time!

Looks like tons of fun! I'm envious of the warm weather! We have a couple of parks with those "splash pads" and my kids love them too... Why didn't they have stuff like that when we were kids? (or maybe they did but my mom was too busy to take us?)
